The National Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow was established in 1970. Today more than 20 active chapters represent universities across the country. National ACT sponsors a scholarship, convention and a communications contest.

UF's ACLT chapter is housed in the Department of Agricultural Education and Communication at the University of Florida.

UF/ACLT was formed in October 1995 and has already established a national reputation for service and a high-quality program. Members have placed in the National ACT competitions and have contributed to several National ACT projects.

A variety of student interests and backgrounds make the UF ACLT chapter unique. The chapter continues to grow and evolve to meet the requirements of future agricultural communicators and leaders.
